There are a few ideas of what to do if you wish to spend a day or so in Perth before the conference starts or at the end of the event.  Sample itineraries (kindly provided by Perth Convention Bureau) are attached here (Sample itineraries Perth).  If you wish to stay longer than a day of so, or travel around WA a bit more, for example to the Margaret River region or further afield, there are some great ideas and itineraries available from the PCB.  Details of these opportunities are available here.
